Veterans History Project – November 11

Ela Township is proud to share information about an important initiative of the 19th Judicial Circuit – the Veterans History Project. This program creates a space for veterans to share their stories, which are then preserved in the Library of Congress for future generations.

On the morning of Tuesday, November 11, 2025, the Lake County Courthouse will host a special event. Veterans and their families are invited to gather for light breakfast and refreshments, connect with one another, and learn more about contributing to this meaningful project.
